What I need from you
Character Description
Height, body type, hair colour and style, eye colour, complexion.
Clothing, jewelry, as well as any defining features (scars, freckles, tattoos, etc)
Setting
Location, time of day, decor, weather, mood/lighting, any important details or colours you'd like me to include.
Poses
How are the characters positioned in relation to each other? How are they feeling in the scene?
Do you have any camera angles in mind?
A detailed description is perfect. You're welcome to send through a couple lines of description from the novel, but please refrain from sending me entire pages or multiple paragraphs.
Keep it short, sweet, and succinct!
If you'd like to send through a stick figure drawing of your vision, that's always welcome! Reference images are helpful too. (Please no AI)

General Disclaimers
I will not work with anyone who uses Generative AI. And I reserve the right to cancel a commission with you if I see you doing so.
Payment and Fees
Payment is due in full before the start date
Payment is done through PayPal, in USD.
For now, I do not charge a commercial fee.
Process and Work Schedule
Artworks take me between 1 – 4 weeks to complete. (2 weeks on average)
The start date is agreed upon when making the booking.
The rough sketch will be sent through in a few days, where you may request changes.
I am happy to make multiple edits (within reason) before you are happy with it. and I move onto the colour.
Colour changes and small edits can be requested upon receiving the final artwork. However, anything that requires redrawing will incur an extra fee.
Client Obligations
Write in a clear and concise manner.
Maintain professional conduct throughout the commission process.
Respond in a timely fashion.
Carefully read through the TOS and Commission Information.
Copyright and Usage Policy
Prints:
If you sell prints, you are required to include my tag @ask.the.fairies somewhere on the artwork.
Cover:
If you use my artwork as a cover, you are required to credit me in the novel
Posting:
I request you tag me when you first reveal the character art.
I reserve the right to post all art I make to my Instagram, website, or to use for advertising purposes. However, special agreements can be made to postpone the use of your artwork, if you wish to wait for a certain date to release it.
Clients are not permitted to upload any of my art to AI generating or trading websites
Clients are not permitted to alter or edit my original artwork. However, cropping to use for advertising purposes is allowed.
Wait-list
Any client can request to be added to my wait-list.
This is not a guaranteed slot.
If I have any cancellations, or unexpected free time pops up, I will reach out to those on the wait-list on a "first come, first serve" basis.
Cancellations and Refunds
If for any reason, you would like to cancel the artwork during the sketch phase, I will keep 50% of the total, and refund the remaining.
This is to cover the work already done, and loss of income for that booking.
Once the sketch is approved, and I move onto colour, the artwork is no longer refundable.
I’d like to assume you reached out to me because you like my previous work. If you’ve given me a great description, and communicate effectively during the sketch phase, there should be no reason either of us are unhappy with the final artwork :)
